Vandalism of marketing campaign workplace, indicators, reported by B.C. candidates

Police in Surrey say they’re investigating a report of harm to a marketing campaign workplace.

A window was damaged in a single day Friday on the workplace of Dave Hans, who’s operating for the BC Liberals in Surrey-Guildford.

Surrey RCMP stated the injury was discovered at 10 a.m. PT Saturday morning on the workplace close to the intersection of 102A Avenue and 154 Avenue in Surrey. Police started investigating shortly after.

Hans shared images of the injury on social media.

Pictures shared by a number of Twitter customers present vandalism of an indication belonging to NDP candidate Harwinder Sandhu, who’s operating in Vernon-Monashee. The images present her signal defaced with a swastika and a vile sexist slur.

“Once I noticed that, I considered my two ladies and different ladies and different girls,” Sandhu stated in an emailed assertion. “These had been racist assaults and assaults on all girls. They won’t cease me from standing up for my group.”

Fellow NDP candidate Ravi Kahlon, operating in North Delta, tweeted a photograph with the slur obscured.
