Bears on Barrington: Winnipeg girl builds exhibit of polar bear snow sculptures on entrance garden

Vinora Bennett, a mom of three who lives in Winnipeg’s St. Important space, constructed a snowman earlier this winter. However she yearned to department out and construct extra.

“I went on-line and I noticed this image of two snow bears,” she stated. “I attempted it and it labored, so it went from there.”

For a couple of week, Bennett has constructed polar bears from snow on her entrance yard on Barrington Avenue. There are over a dozen sculptures on her garden now.

When CBC Information spoke with Bennett Wednesday, she was engaged on one other bear sculpture that she plans to name “Lazy Bear,” as a result of will probably be sleeping on the snow with its rear finish sticking up.
