Winnipeg police have arrested a lady accused of robbing clothes shops and drugstores with a syringe and a knife this spring.
Police declare she is answerable for eight robberies at a number of totally different areas between April 24 and June 17.
She is accused of robbing shops on Leila Avenue and McPhillips Avenue, close to Seven Oaks Common Hospital, and on Marion Avenue throughout that point interval.
Police allege that in the course of the incidents, the lady threatened employees members on the shops with a syringe, and on one event threatened employees with a knife when she was leaving the shop with unpaid merchandise.
Nobody was injured within the incidents, however police say the lady stole almost $6,000 value of merchandise, which hasn’t been recovered but.
The 42-year-old girl from Winnipeg was charged with eight counts of theft and two counts of uttering threats.
She was detained in custody.
