Raymond, 50, has admitted to capturing Bobbie Lee Wright and Donnie Robichaud, then Fredericton police constables Sara Burns and Robb Costello at 237 Brookside Dr. in Fredericton on Aug. 10, 2018.
He has pleaded not responsible to 4 counts of first-degree homicide, and his defence attorneys are arguing he was not criminally liable for the crime on account of a psychological sickness.
On Friday the Crown admitted Raymond had a psychological sickness on the time of the capturing. It means to get a not-guilty verdict, the defence solely must show Raymond did not respect the character and penalties of his actions, or that he did not know what he was doing was incorrect.
