The Longueuil police service broke up an unlawful gathering on Monday outdoors what they’re calling a “clandestine gymnasium” on Kimber Boulevard within the neighbourhood of Saint-Hubert, on Montreal’s South Shore.
In an announcement, police say the gathering of about 60 folks started as a result of a person, 49, made a web based publish on social media, inviting others to hitch him on the location.
Officers say they shut down the gymnasium final week, however the man took down the barricade to enter anyway.
He was arrested and may face expenses of mischief and obstructing the work of police.
